Social

The marketing
Mary Poppins.
02 / The situation
Joining a team
still being built.
Social Solutions was a SaaS company building software to help nonprofits track their outcomes. It had recently been acquired by a large equity firm and was overhauling its operations. I joined as content marketing manager in 2016. For the first six months, I worked directly with the VP of Marketing while she worked to build a new marketing team.
What I worked on.
03 / What I didContent and campaigns
I produced content and planned campaigns for each quarter, averaging seven campaigns and 24 content assets. I also led content and social media specialists.
Pipelines and lead scoring
I built and synchronized marketing pipelines and lead scoring through HubSpot into Salesforce. The work also included inbound funnels and lead-generation campaigns using Marketo.
Data and reporting
I ran the data and metrics, used them to adjust SEO and lead generation, and presented the work to the executive team and board.
Behind the work.
04 / Campaign archiveThese are some of the ebooks, website pages, and resource campaigns from that work. The topics came from the day-to-day needs of nonprofits: reporting outcomes, getting out of spreadsheets, and closing out the fiscal year.
The samples include Reporting Best Practices, Held Hostage by Spreadsheets, and the Nonprofit Close-Out Kit, alongside the website and landing pages where people found them.
